WRAKE is a multi-purpose rake for every garden or salt production owner designed with apocalyptic times in mind. With WRAKE one can rake leafs in a seasonal garden, but also rake salt by turning the rake around.

The brief was to design a handtool that would be useful in post-apocalyptic times, had prehistoric use and could be introduced on the current market. Making the tool, no computers, smartphones, machines etc. were allowed.

In post-apocalyptic times we will need salt to preserve food. A technique that has been in use for hundreds of years, especially in Scandinavia. Raking salt is a crucial part of salt production since it separates salt and brine in the drying process. The long slits allow brine to escape while detaining the salt.
