– ANTI DRUG MOVEMENT & SWAG –

ABOUT THIS PROJECT.  GRØ (pronounced ‘grow’) is an educational non-profit organisation where parents of drug abusing kids educate parents of non-drug abusing kids, to prevent future abuse amongst kids and teenagers. This, is why the first campaign emphasises how parents should talk mom to mom, mom to dad, dad to dad etc. GRØ is financed, supported and promoted through collaborations with clothing brands.

 

This project started out with Process: the problem: "I am always hungry when there is bad food, and never hungry when there is good food".  With this in mind, I generated 100 sketches. From those, the dominating pattern was the question simpleof: What is good and bad food? From there, the focus of the project evolved into the importance of communication. I explored how communication on pill bottles can have major consequences. Consumer reports say that “more than 500,000 Americans misinterpret pill bottle labels every year.” From here, the prototypes took several shapes. Eventually, I went further upstream and developed GRØ.
